@ The Goat is Watching, SoulBreaka, and ApolloJustice: I went back and re-read some of the Sword Dancers doujins this artist did, and now I'm confused too. Explanations below. Also, wall of text incoming.

The only thing I can say with certainty is that Archer-ko is most definitely not Shirou in female form. There's this scene in Sword Dancers 2 episode 2 where she gets intimate with a guy who can only be future Shirou without his standard Archer spiky hair. They know each other, and there definitely wasn't a dual persona thing going on there.

Up to the end of SD2e2, all signs were pointing towards Archer-ko being Ilya. Right before the aforementioned intimate scene, she fires off a Gand at Shirou. Her flashback to when she learnt the spell had Rin bending down to talk to her, and Rin says "when you want to smack that blockhead". Considering these few points:

- She was the size, or at least the height of a child back then,
- She knew both Rin and Shirou,
- And knew them well enough for Rin to be teaching her attack magic for the purpose of knocking some sense into Shirou,

the only possible candidate is Ilya. Or it would be some random child they befriended in the Sword Dancers continuity.

HOWEVER, all the above no longer makes any sense once you go past SD2e2, because Ilya herself shows up. There's too much confusing mindfuckery in SD2e3 and e4, but to summarise the relevant stuff:

Archer-ko gets beheaded, but Zelretch and Ilya manage to preserve her soul for a while, long enough to jump into some kind of spirit dimension to speak to her. Ilya then forms a contract with Archer-ko, intending to resummon her with a Master-Servant relationship, ala the Grail Wars. Summoning fails, Archer-ko manifests as a sword, Ilya dives back into the spirit dimension and lets Archer-ko use her body as a vessel to hold her soul, and thus, Archer-ko pops back into existence using Ilya's body. Gets a wardrobe change in the process, and possibly a bust size upgrade as well.

To reiterate, I no longer have any idea where Himura Kiseki is going with the story; he was probably going with "Archer-ko = future Ilya" initially, then changed his mind after SD2e2, but it still looks cool as hell, and I'll be damned if I stop reading this stuff.

Archerko is still a mystery, her appearance is like Ilya, but it is seen that her body contains the jewel that Rin gave Shirou, so you could say it might be Emilya from someone else's doujin. Continuing on that idea, it might be that she could have come from an alternate timeline and was Ilya and received the jewel instead of Shirou.

the whole Archer-ko = Illya argument is still valid even after the events of SwordDancers. so far all the women from the Von Einzbern house that we've met have been artificially created to some degree to either host the Grail or protect its host, even Illya is at least half homunculus from her mother, so its possible for them to just make another Illya at some future date.

No, it still makes sense. That girl with the bandaged arm is not Illya. She's another new Homunculus that they(Einzbern maybe?) made. You can see it when she mentions a master who endured the pain to control a servant during a whole war, she's talking about Illya. And then she asked Archer-ko, who is quite shocked when she mention that, to help them. And there's still many more hints, like how she acts when the guy(Archer?) kills the Homunculus that looks like Sella(probably retains her memory) and the following flashback.
It's still not officially stated but the most likely candidate is Illya so you are right. We'll just have to wait for him to make the next one.

I must point out that the author does not list the "Illya" in Sword Dancers as "Illyasviel von Einzbern" but as "Last Minor Grail." Seeing as Sella and Liz have their names translated as Seilla and Louise, it could be possible that this incarnation of Illya is different from the F/SN Illya. Thus it is still possible for Archer-Ko to be F/SN Illya chasing after Shirou.

Clearly Illya is best girl in all her incarnantions.

I want to list an additional proof for your theory: in page 22 of this doujin, Archer-ko admitted that her father was Japanese and her mother German. In case she does not just fool around, this might be another point to prove that she is, or is related to, Illya and/or her parents who at the same time were a couple of Japanese man and German woman (homuculus).
