I'd just like to point out (before anyone brings it up - and someone always does) that although Hideki Tojo was technically not the leader of Japan at the time of WWII (and therefore not its dictator), Emperor Hirohito cannot be included in this book of dictators. He was an absolute monarch. "Dictator" and "Absolute Monarch" are mutually exclusive terms, as they describe how a person got to unrestrained power. The monarch gets power by "legitimate" ascension to a throne, while the dictator seizes power not given to him.
And please try to remember that not every person in this book is unquestionably a bastard. Ataturk and Tito did wonders for their country and are still surprisingly well liked there, for example.
