Needs a better scan. I can understand not wanting to destroy your book, but gutter shadows and crooked pages don't do this one justice.

Holy fuck learn to use common sense and then learn to scan. First remove the surugaya sticker, why would you leave that there? Surugaya doesn't use a strong adhesive so it comes off super easy. It's not that thick of a doujin, you should be more than able to lay each page on the scanner and throw a book on top and get more than decent scans. Bending the pages around back to scan is a terrible idea, ruins the doujin/book, and leads to shit scans, so just don't do it.

Honestly this is not better than those shot by cameras as I can at least read those the majority of the time. Half the text in this is totally unreadable or cut off so it's impossible to translate from this even. So this is pretty much a worthless scan in my opinion.

I've scanned a number of things for LWB and a few are from surugaya so I do have experience.

@UltimateCP bending the cover like that is pretty much guaranteed to ruin it, so clearly that wasn't the issue. Doujin covers like this are printed on the material that once bent this way can't ever be straightened well again.
