Bad puns, game references and I have a feeling the artist either hates men or hates straight people, because it seems like the theme here is, you need to rape a guy so he knows he likes cock.

It's wonderful art, I just really wish the artist would fucking do something else for a change. It gets really old, really fast.

Shia performs the puns on purpose, it's his thing, along with the many references. Most of what comes out in comics are commissions, so what they person wants Shia to do is what you see. If there is something new you would like to see from Shia, how about commission something for him?
