this is exactly what I imagined she went through when she mentioned the "hardships she went through" to become an idol. anyway, this is based off of a character that was only in the first section of the game Dangan-Ronpa. XXX-kun, aka Makoto Naegi, is the main character, and she often predicts his thoughts, joking that she's an esper.

the swan thing is odd, but she's just saying that Naegi-kun wouldn't like her so much if he knew the truth. the thing that shot the swan is the villain of the game, Monokuma. he does weird things and appears in illustrations and visualizations so I guess it's not super weird that he's the hunter.

The crane is a reference to the game (I think) where Maizono sees Naegi nursing an injured crame back to health at their previous school.

The last page then depicts Monobear shooting that crane.

Why do people think of this as NTR?

For the most part, Naegi only admire her as being the idol. He really didn't have any mutual feelings for her (besides being friends). By the way, what's the purpose for XXX-kun? Isn't meant for Naegi since she's obviously referencing him?

Plus, she tried to frame Naegi so she could live (fortunately it backfired on her but I personally feel that she didn't deserve to die, she was really in shock that her emotions were unstable and therefore was unable to think clearly of the full situation since she wanted the easy way out). Thank god that part 2, you could replay the events in part 1 and actually change the events to where everyone survives.
