p. 130 & 160 the purpled hair girl is third cousin? they do not have sex, though there was a plan for them to marry

the old guy is his paternal grandfather, (spoiler, he dies during sex w/ his daughter-in-law, promising to give everything to his grandson)

despite everything turning out well, his stepmom cheats on him w/ a cigar addict (likely a co-conspirator before the death of her husband) both planning on disposing of him, but, being suspicious of a discarded cigar at her cabin, he spots them in flagrante delictio & uses the duel pistols to dispose of the treacherous cow & her cohort.
