Perhaps its because how desperate they keep prolonging the series, keep introducing unnecessary new characters, make the original plot became more absurd just to make it longer,
what happened to the key? and the lock? what happened to raku's health? what the hell is going on? is this gonna be harem end or not? why are they keep avoiding the plot and make more complicated non related chapter each time ? Why this? Why that? and before you know it, the series itself have became disdain to some of its reader or viewer, and before you know it, you just wished the series to just end, any kind of end, choose only one girl, harem end, axed, no girl , or etc, coz all we wanted was it to just end, not make the mc became more coward each chapters, then suddenly came plot chapter and our mc too suddenly have back bone and became all macho and deliver cliche mc line, and then when next chapter is out, its like all his macho and coolness is gone and he's back to the way he was before

I already dropped the series long time ago, but you tell me, at what chapter that he finally confessed to onodera? or he still hasnt do that yet?

there's a limit on how long you can prolong a good story to make money (which probably the reason why you do it in the first place, your career)
