Does anyone else find it annoying when a gif goes through an entire scene before looping, and it makes the dude look like the fastest shot ever?
I asked an animator how hard it is to alter/edit gifs, and he said "Not very, if you use photoshop."
I haven't touched anything resembling photoshop since the early 2000's, but figured "What the hell." and got a copy. These are the gifs that I have made, alongside the ones that were naturally looping, or I otherwise felt were unnecessary to edit.
I'll add more to the gallery as I finish more gifs
[EDIT 6/28/2015] Would've been up sooner, but life and getting the game these Gifs are from to make the scenes more 'accurate' took awhile.
On that note, a little "Guide" for y'all. If a pic description has just the dev2_### that's a source gif that I didn't bother to edit If a pic has dev2_###WIP, then it's one I made. If you see "ALPHA" That's a gif which is accurate to the scene I pulled it from, while a nearby WIP is one I made before I got the game (Let you judge which is better) If you see "Fasta" that's a gif where the scene sped up the girls motions, so I made a faster gif to match lol.
THIS IS NOT THE END HOWEVER. I'm going to work on getting a GIF maker instead of just editing existing ones because there's a woman who has received no animated love, and a lot of these gifs are from scenes which are "Bigger" that what is captured in one pic. (In the game, right-click and drag in order to see the whole image)
Well, if you're really interested, there's quite a few apps dedicated to gif's that can automate the process and/or include options to create a gif that finishes then "rewinds" back to the start to create a far more natural loop. The only problem you run into with that is the gif's skyrocket in size, which can be an issue if you aren't making them for something like here.
But photoshop being what it is, there's always a plugin or a way to do the same, heh.
I appreciate that, though honestly I'm having plenty of fun doing it this way. I even got the game so I could make the gifs as close to what's in the game as possible. (Plus eyeball any scenes or missing frames as needed, like some teacher who wasn't in the original set.)
Though my issue now is that I need a GD save clear file so I don't have to go through every GD option over and over again for every girl...doubly so since I don't speak/read Japanese and I'm flying by the seat of my ass through the dialogue with no idea what I'm doing lol.
[EDIT]
And the instant I post that I get the brain wave to pull the title of the game in it's japanese script and THEN google that with ".sav"
And a clear data file is literally the first result.
