I can't make heads or tails of the ending of chapter 5 but it appears FMC kinda breaks up with MC because he cheated on her "without a contract"/"off-script" while she was only cheating on him out of a sense of contractual obligation to fulfill his fetish or to "follow his script."

So she kinda dumps him and says she will continue per the terms of the contract or the script (until it's concluded I guess?) but that their romantic relationship is basically over?

Not sure. The japanese does that thing in the end where it's all super vague and you literally have to guess 98% of the character's feelings and thoughts. Very annoying habit that Japanese writers have.

In the full ending posted elsewhere (there are 17 additional chapters, only in Chinese), they had been apart but after he approaches her again they end up together "technically" and married with a baby but she appears to be in some kind of psychological space where she feels she is only playing a role and doesn't feel like she is his real wife, or doesn't fully trust him or something like that. Basically a sham marriage to try to chase a happiness that she doesn't actually feel with him even though he's the only man she wants to be with romantically.
