Kind of gotten a different vibe from the story myself. He's wanting to kill himself, she knows about it, and follows him. She knows all about him and what's going on and she's the one who presses the action. She never does say why she wants to die and throws the idea in there at odd times; as if challenging his way of thinking.

I think she liked him and used the idea of her killing herself (and later an unborn child) as a way to make him realize there was/is something worth living for.

This is something I love about Hindenburg, this set up is really underused, but the suicidal idea is such a real topic. Honestly as far out as it may seem, this set up is somber, touching in a way. I could see someone doing this somewhere in the world, stopping a suicidal crush like this. Hell it might even really have been a dangerous day, but that was just a means to wake the guy up. So glad more Hindenburg is finally being translated. Shame he/she doesn't write anymore.

I don't agree, whether or not its true: the idea that two messed up people can come together and become happy is part of the appeal. I'm a realist, however, often times am accused of being a pessimist, I still thought the message was nice. This is a rare in hentai, even more so rare in stories. I kind of wish it was a bigger story, perhaps where they would face other impasses and other trials and tribulations.
