Can anyone estimate how much time passed between this and the last chapter? I don't think it was summer before since the characters always had jackets and long sleeves.

Surprisingly, this is the first time ever in the story that Haruka said she loved something about Shu, even though it was completely fucked up. I can already see her on the road to complete insanity.

So, I'll try to make some predictions for the next chapters. I have to admit that it's pretty hard, though.

One scenario could be NTR 101: Shu asks Gotou to fuck Haruka, everyone around him starts to know about it, they eventually start having gangbangs with her, and Haruka is turning into a complete cum dumpster / public toilet, abandoning Shu for dicks. This is a very unlikely scenario, imo.

Another one would be some kind of ostracism happening: Shu's colleagues don't have sex with Haruka, but everyone around him still knows about it, his reputation is destroyed and he gets shunned. Maybe he will even get fired. That could make Shu realize that he has to stop this. He moves away with Haruka and they get a new apartment in another city with their money put aside and Shu gets a new job there. He can start a new life with Haruka and maybe in an epilogue a few years later she is finally pregnant with his child.

Third route: Kawai confronts Shu again and tells him that she was the one who told Gotou about Haruka sleeping around because she was mad at him. She makes a preposition: Either he starts an affair with her or she will tell everyone about it, leading to social ostracism (see above). Shu will reluctantly accept to save his reputation. He may or may not tell Haruka about it. Eventually, Kawai gets knocked up by Shu while Haruka is confirmed infertile. Either they somehow resolve this or Haruka will go full Yandere and either severely hurt Kawai and / or Shu or maybe even kill one of them. If they somehow come to an arrangement, Shu and Haruka could adopt Kawai's baby, while she still has contact with them and the child as some kind of aunt (it would be hers after all).

So what do you guys think about this?

Honestly, this is probably the first nuanced, "mature" NTR story I've ever read. As much as I don't like NTR, I do want to see where this goes, just because it seems real-ish, y'know? Hopefully it doesn't reach into mind-break territory. A bad ending would kill the whole work, imo.

About the "san" honorific, I thought "Mr." would had shown how irritated Kawai is at Shuujirou.
She called him senpai normally, now it's "Izumi-san" so I thought "Mr. Izumi" was appropriate here.

As for the beach scene, think back to Chapter 18 - The Start of a Romance. Majority of it was on black pages. For this artist, black pages are memories/flashbacks. Eventually time caught up and the pages crossfaded into white when Haruka was being banged by senpai in his car. Same thing here. Page 2 and 3 are on black to show Haruka was remembering something that already happened.

I went out and bought the December Issue for it.

Scanned it (twice and on K-Slice's hardware), adjusted the image light levels, cleaned up some imperfections, translated it (with Sand's assistance), did the typesetting, proofreading (though I did miss a few things but are fixed now), and posted it.

Could have had it out 2 - 3 days earlier but I was out of town at an anime convention when this made it in.

You say 3 volumes. Are all volumes basically around 10 chapters or so long? If so, damn is this going to get heavy with the NTR. Of course, this is the kind where the husband gets off of his wife fucking other dudes, so you wouldn't normally expect the story to get TOO dark, as the infidelity is conscientious and known to both parties.

Still, the story is filled with drama and dark undertones, so I'm bracing myself for a death or two by the time the last chapter gets written (crossing my fingers for 9 more chapters :p). If no deaths come, at least a stabbing or something (we already had one with the pencil a while back lol).
At this juncture, it feels like either Shuu or Haruka is going to snap in a violent stupor at some point... Since, after all, once someone goes insane enough, they may lose sight of their surroundings and cause havoc. Basic criminological psychology knowledge. If not one single of them, both of them may.

As I've read and watched my fair share or dark stuff, and since I like NTR/cheating, this should prove interesting...

A number of readers here are suggesting mental breakdowns and physical violence, even killings. Maybe it's just me, but I see none of those coming. (I might be missing some clear hints since I have read more European than Japanese comics. Haruka's eyes on page 3, for example, do you think they're quite unambiguously telling us that she is gradually destroying herself – instead of "only" having an extremely tough choice, as I see it?)

My view is that the couple has now reached a certain stability. Ideally, now would be the time for them to explore and enjoy different aspects of their fetish, possibly facing practical-level problems such as STDs.

However, that is not where this is going. During the former arcs, the emphasis has been on the struggles within their own minds and within their relationship, and even if some doubts remain, they have been able to face those problems and find at least some working solutions. The next step is them as a unit versus the people around them, and whether they can face the imminent hard social pressure. Is it unimaginable that someone could try to blackmail them by threatening to tell Haruka's parents about what is going on?

In my eyes, this story has been unexpectedly optimistic, if full of dark undertones, by now. Especially the end of the senpai arc was able to surprise me, because the author first took us really far to the darkside and then expressed strong belief in people's ability to communicate. I sort of expect the plot to stay so until the very end: happiness is within our reach, no matter how weird things we love, but nothing, ever, comes for free. "It's a rough road ahead," no matter what.

I totally expected the story to conclude with the senpai arc, and I am a little worried whether the writing can remain as good and deep for another (or possibly even a fourth!) volume. The author has already proven quite a lot, but can he afford to stop before having played his last card?

@Katajanmarja That's an interesting view. It was clear for a long time that this series would be extended for a third volume, though. I expected that Senpai would be BTFO in chapter 20, but rather by Shu's rampage, not by Haruka.
Don't count on generic blackmailing here. The author doesn't do such stories. Haruka IS losing her sanity. Reread chapter 10, the same thing happened there. She doesn't know what to do anymore and relies on the subconscious voices in her head instead of thinking clearly. I think she will get more and more crazy in the next chapters unless something drastic happens (like Shu saying it's enough). Kawai will surely play a role as well. Gotou as a villain is something I can't see happening.

Oh, and what's far more important than STDs (easily prevented by using condoms, like they did in volume 1) is Haruka doing it raw with strangers instead of Shu. They started this so that she could conceive his baby, but she still isn't pregnant after two years of marriage at the start of the story and months after the cuckolding began. It's very likely to me that she is infertile (or she secretly takes pills, but I don't think so; Shu was confirmed fertile in chapter 2). If she suddenly got pregnant now, they would have to raise a bastard child.
