Even though it's not erotic and even though the art isn't very good, I would say this is a good hypnosis doujin because it manages to do the induction so well not only for the characters, but the reader too.

@Granten Hypnosis is pretty niche compared to other forms of mind control, though I couldn't point out one specific reason for it. It might be because solid hypnosis requires lengthy setup compared to drugs or violent rape. It's a very methodical fetish (unless you're doing a speedy induction) and most people who read doujins don't have time for that. Note that the induction takes up almost half the pagecount of this dj.

The artist has steadily improved since starting this comic in 2014. The original comic is up to 61 pages now, at a rate of about two new pages every two months, and it does get somewhat H-rated near the end, but nothing too graphic yet. This translation was ripped from http://blinks0.deviantart.com and falsely accredited to hypnohub.net. That translator seems to have stopped working on the comic. I have been translating this comic myself (in a text file, no image edits yet), but I am waiting until the series is completed. I am not sure, but from what the author has been saying on Twitter, I suspect it's nearing the end.

@shaoran-san: You are mostly(?) correct in your first paragraph but you made a wrong assumption in your second one. Save for the last few pages, I can't access the older pages, the rest appear to have been removed (or hidden from view) by the original artist. Now for your second paragraph. While Blinks0 is, indeed, the editor of this translation/release; he is not the one who did the original translation. That is quite obvious if you compare the release dates between the hypnohub (original+translation tags) version and the edited one. The bulk of the English translation (that Blinks0 used after slightly editing it) came from lemonpie1101 (hypnohub.net). In fact, after he finished uploading the edited version to DeviantArt; he uploaded it to Hypnohub as well. @tobeunforgiven2: on the first part, all the images are there and are now public once more. They've just been merged into one post per chapter. You also have all of the Japanese ones shared here as well, sans some of the omake images. So that's good.

(assuming the author is female, but it's pretty hard to tell just by writing style, rarely uses personal pronouns.)

What happened was that she used a separate identity for the artwork due to its R18 nature, but her pixiv.me username matched her real online handle. One day she completely freaked out and deleted everything, moved the images to a new account, and then made the Twitter and Pixiv account material private. My pure speculation is that a stalker probably found out about this and that's when she realized the mistake. She's been acting very erratic ever since (constantly deleting old tweets and locking things down), so something serious must have happened. I only noticed because I check Twitter once a day to see what's new with the artists I follow.

On your second point... I see. My apologies for getting the facts wrong. I just remember seeing blinks0 posting each new page in small sets, and he never mentioned hypnohub. Not seeing his name in this post, I assumed the worst, sorry. But at any rate, I haven't seen any new images in a long time, and that's fine. If and when this comic concludes, I'll produce an English translation of the actual pages.

I just assumed they were taken down for good (other artists I'm following have removed some of their older releases) because the old links were dead and did not look further than that... Yeah, the irony is strong with this one. Thanks for letting me know.

Edit: I'm under the impression that Saiin Jutsushi has concluded. Would you be interested in translating it? I believe the last chapter though hasn't been uploaded yet.

@tobeunforgiven2: ......and the author just deleted a third of her tweets (including every picture posted), locked her Twitter account, and hid every pic she's ever uploaded to Pixiv. Twitter comment says she's on a serious break. Given she's taken up to six months to post a new page when NOT on break, that probably means we're in for a very long wait this time.

I don't know what it is about artists. So many of them end up being neurotic. I learned long ago that you MUST download any illustrations you like, because artists tend to delete their works at random. Thankfully you uploaded a copy here for others at least.

As for Saiin Jutsushi, sorry but no thanks. I'm a shotacon only. This was pretty much the only such hypnosis doujinshi I've ever encountered, aside from my even WORSE artwork (much worse.. sigh, hoping no one ever uploads it here. The comments would be brutal)

EDIT: and the artist just quit for good. Deleted all the rest of her tweets and announced retirement due to unspecified difficulties. When I get some free time, I'll start working on that translation.

@shaoran-san That's terribly unfortunate. It's a shame when a niche fetish loses an artist. I do hope it wasn't due to something as serious as a stalker, though I will admit that I don't understand Japanese artists' proclivity to DELETE FUCKING EVERYTHING without a moment's notice. I occasionally see Western artists taking down older art of theirs that they no longer like, but rarely ever current works like Japanese artists unless they're in the middle of an internet shitstorm.

This was surprising how well done and demonstrated that the hypnotic induction was. Considering how hypnosis in Japanese media (especially doujins/hentai) is the stereotypical simply repeating "you are getting sleepy, now bam, take off your clothes and you're my slave," it's refreshing to see someone that actually understands how hypnosis is actually done.
