1. Keeps the audience actively waiting for new material instead of them just binge reading it and being done with it.
2. Allows you to consistently come out with material so people aren't stuck waiting forever for a new comic.
3. Allows you to get a better feel for what your audience likes.
4. All of this combined makes it easier for you to raise money as an artist.
