Orcs are corrupted Elves (or possibly Men). Morgoth could not create, just twist and corrupt, so they probably have to procreate in the usual way...

about that, i'm sure there were certain allusions, like Morgoth's private, vile thoughts while watching Luthien, or the fact that many elves survived Hellish (think Medieval Torture) captivity in Anband without Going to Mandos. Since elves can self-terminate through grief alone, it takes some skill to actually keep them captive for any length of time, besides the Whole Morgoth Breeding Orcs in Utumno Using Tortured Elves Also, in Lord Of The Rings, there seemed to be allusions to Celbrians Torment, her "poisoned" Wound she suffered & her fleeing to the West once rescued

Finally, the wiki source was from "Morgoth's Ring" compiled form Notes published decades after Tolkein's death Which is in some respects "Shrug Of God" as he created such a massive volume of background for middle earth, some kept, some rejected

I lol'd at the last page, they finished at daybreak then marched her to Moria. I'd think they'd wait until nightfall, as daylight makes them very uncomfortable. also, despite their common lack of discipline, their chief would likely wish to keep her either all to himself, or keep her unscathed until she got to the big boss in Moria, as she'd fetch a higher price intact
