When he finally pulled all of himself out of her, the Traveler took a few moments to play with husk left behind. Ariela's mind, perhaps even her soul if such a thing really existed, had long since gone; defiled and ultimately destroyed by experiencing the anguish and agony of her innumerable doomed alternate selves one after another. What remained was witless, but compliant. Easy to please with the simplest touch and eager to please with her sensitive, tender flesh. If a finger brushed against her lips, they would open. If a tongue ran across her eye, she would moan.

After having a farewell taste of every inch of her body that wasn't covered by his seed and subjecting her to carnal indignities so intense that he'd never dream of performing them on the 'real' Ariela, he closed his eyes and turned it all back to the night he whisked her away so he could try again. He would try and try until he got it right. And if he never did, well, at least they'd have fun for the rest of his inexhaustible years."
