It's a mobile game but you can play it on both a computer or your phone. I suggest playing it on your computer since for being a mobile game it's not really that optimised for it... It's battle system is similar to Final Fantasy. It came out at 2014 so it's somewhat new. Right now it's extremely popular and they've been doing events lately to celebrate a lot of new players but can't say if a lot of them are multiple accounts. There's an english language option for the game so you're still playing on the japanese server so you get the same updates at the same time as the japanese players (you can even raid with them) so you don't have to wait for months for an event or character draws that japanese people usually get beforehand compared to other mobile games

Almost a fully translated menu and abilities. The game''s story line is translated all the way to the current chapters. The story is still on going and it doesn't look like it'll be ending any time soon. They usually have non translated events and scenes translated in a couple weeks or more so you're not really left out on the stories.

einsteinVE: in terms of popularity, it's not at the level of Kancolle, but it's been growing consistently so it could reach that level. It has more of a story and world than Kancolle (not to say it's bad that Kancolle lacks those things) so it's setting lends itself to a bit more variety. Plus Cygames has been bringing characters from their other game, Shingeki no Bahamut, into Granblue. Not to mention the collabs with Tales, Sakura Wars, Street Fighter, Slayers, Idolmaster, and Lord of Vermillion so it may already have risen to the level of Puzzles and Dragons and Tera Battle.
