It's less a case of a paywall, so much as Xpray is working on other projects/drawings/etc. as well. He's averaging about one drawing a week, and doing one for this comic every other week. The reason it seemed faster before was both because he had the comic more or less finished when he started uploading and he wasn't coloring the last two, which seems to take him the most time.
