I have no doubt it's still been going on in the year or two since. In 5 she's conforming to sensei and after being mindbroken and dragged down by him, would have no reason to / be able to end it, but with any luck he transferred out at some point. The story also hints that someone (Gin) will be able to pull her back out of the water. Her image has changed, the question is then how trained to suit sensei and his tastes she's become and if being with sensei is as far as she's gone.

Hopefully chapter 1 isn't hinting at pregnancy, either. At any rate, Yuzuki's non-vanilla does tend to end "happy", so I rather think this one will, too.

Well, according to some sites last chapter has the same number of pages as other chapters except with colour pages at the start, I don't need to say all the chapter is basically Setsuna going full slut because she saw her friend confessing to Gin. I don't know why there are so much hate for Setsuna. What she did was brave for a girl who had her life ruined.

She chose to leave Gin because she knew Gin deserves a better lover than her such as Tomoe, and she also knew Tomoe loves Gin. She cut ties so Gin can forget about her and move on.

She chose to keep the baby despite the choice to abort it, and raised it by herself. She is the victim in here but she didn't blame anyone and accept the reality.

Gin is a good man because he still love Setsuna despite her situation. Tomoe is a good friend because she willing to help Gin and Setsuna despite herself is in love with Gin. And above all of that, Setsuna is a brave girl who chose to suffer alone and not being a burden for those she loves.

Years ago, I have coined a term for vanilla stories where the female childhood friend or a long lasting crush doesn't make it to mc a virgin: 遡り寝取られ, as in retroactive netorare, the guy got cuckolded even before he got to his crush that in a manner of speaking was always meant for him. How it happens it doesn't matter (so even something like Brother Holic by Tohzai or the Good Ending manga would fit this group). If anything, this work proves me right in a way. And I agree with Sorenangst, that would be the only true happy ending. Unless you suffer from autogynephilia there's no way ginxsetsuna is a happy ending.

Well, that depend on how people define the term "brave"

In my opinion, if Yuzuki wanted the story darker, she would change Setsuna into a sly bitch by fooling Gin that the baby was his (they had bare sex though) and secretly cheat on him behind his back. However she didn't do that which I appreciate.

Also, we should be reminded that this story happened in Japan, the culture which is not so tolerance toward rapist victim. They despise the rapist, yes, but they are not so fond of the victim too. Sound stupid, isn't it? However, that is the reality Setsuna living in.

We do not have the epilogue here so we have to wait about the part regards the rapist. However, Setsuna did not chose to burden Gin and let him free to find a better lover. Chapter 1 has shown us that she always think Gin was in love with Tomoe. And she didn't abort the child, which I respect her for that.

I'm very aware of the Japanese costume towards these things that is why I called brave the girl(s) who said to the culture/country/stigma I’m not going to BOW to You and I don’t care what you think of me or said to me (shame, public humiliation, family rejection, psychological damage, gossip, etc.) I’m going to report this bastard even if it cost me my reputation, my life, etc. and to be honest a rape victim being publicly shamed it is not a Japanese problem it is a worldwide problem that is why to report that kind of incident takes in my opinion a brave person to do it.

The problem with this story is the bad writing. The only way this makes sense is if the main character is dumb as dogsh!t. But that doesn't make sense. First, she is caught smelling the underwear of her true love. If she's that obsessed with him, wouldn't she also remember what he said to her when they were kids about protecting and taking care of her? Shouldn't she have gone to him and asked for help right away?Otherwise, the whole thing falls apart.

We did discuss that in fact, for years. Try checking the parent galleries.

There is a limit for the suspension of disbelief and Setsuna managed to trash that with the story writing with the end of chapter 4 being the weight that broke the camel's back making readers to give up on her character which by the way destroys your argument.
Even compared with this very author's previous dark stories the writing falls as poorly written with the only small outstanding detail that the rapist asshole got punished, some exceptional for Yuzuki as she always let's the assholes get away scott free.

So this time, for the first time of this author's story Kuroki got arrested, albeit off screen so we even got denied the chance to see him despairing as she becomes the penitentiary crew's new bitch, a place where the real deal is at until the day he dies.

Read again, at the end of C4 she asked Kuroki to have more sex with her which followed on C5 which her embracing all pleasure over friendship and love.
That's both the author's intention and mistake which was focussing more on her getting hooked to sex and pleasure through the series than properly developing her character besides some post-sex-guilt as showed at the last chapter throwing a poor attempt to convince readers how she somehow forgot everything that was supposed to be part of her character. I repeat myself but the author had 3 years to do that and failed.
