I understand where you're coming from. The B&W should be in lossless PNG format. But that's what Tigoris sent me, so I'm simply posting what I directly received. For what it is, Tiggy has done a phenomenal job. File size I can overlook in this day and age.

However, now that you brought it up. I'll ask Tigoris, see if Tiggy can re-export for me. If I get it, I'll update the gallery.

EDIT: Tigoris tried to export in PNG, and the result was actually larger than the JPEG, and that was with compression. The image resolution is simply high. Thankfully you have options available, including downloading a smaller archive, or via torrents.

Keeping the filesize low is important, there many users who backup their stuff locally, exporting the files the right way is a crucial step to this.

Make sure you always convert B/W images into Grayscale
Only use JPEG if you dont need/want to resize the images
Use indexed PNG if you want to resize the images.

Waifu2x has a awesome algorithm to keep the image size low while not loosing any quality.

Then a few years later Kiasa did the prequel chapters to show how that situation came about and added a finale chapter when they were all published in this tank.
So yeah, Drive Your Nightmare was originally a stand alone work.

Thanks for this! I read the fan translated Ayataka though, and I saw that Aya's last line were different (Fan translate - "Make sure you come back again", paid TL - "Come with me for a minute") . So I checked the raws and the original line was "また来なさいね”, so fan TL was actually closer to the translate. I don't mean to nitpick small stuff but this is a paid TL service, so I thought I gotta let the uploader know. I wonder if translator did that on purpose though, as that line is so simple that a TL error is highly unlikely. I mean, sometimes translators don't translate literally to English, but still manage to keep the original context. But then again "come with me for a minute" is quite far off from "come back again".

Well, didn't realize I had read Drive Your Nightmare years ago until I finally got to that chapter, then it all clicked. Overall, solid story arc, even if the prequel chapters fall flat with regards to the friendship of Hinata, Satoshi, and Shou. Mostly comes off as Shou making excuses until we actually see that they really are all friends. Kind of hard to tell who's actually getting NTRd in the end. Regardless, more stories need to close like that, as we're often not given enough information to guess at what the future holds.
