By far the most tragic death of the series for me. He idolized magical girls and was basically living the dream only to see that world twisted into a disgusting perversion of his ideals. Still within that flawed world he held to his own sense of righteousness and vowed to protect his friend at any cost. It was sad watching him forced to fight as a magic girl when he sought only to bring about joy. Even at the end when he is about to die all he was able to think about was what was going to happen to Koyuki. And then he gets turned into street pizza by a semi truck.... what the fuck did he do to deserve that? How is that fucking fair?
