I wonder why people give such low rating for doujins like this? They aren't that bad and story is nice I think or is it because poor translation?

It's because the god awful layout, wasted space, and empty pages.

If 70% of your page is empty, there is no fucking excuse.

I'm currently fixing that now on ghost love and gunna move onto others. It fucking drives me nuts.
