For some reason, as a father I just find this story jarring. Don't get me wrong, it's a good and sweet story, no denying that, but also that paternal part of me can't help but feel conflicted and a bit disgusted at the father character of this. As I said, aside from the sex for me it was a sweet story, but for some reason I find the idea of a father laying his hands on his daughter a bit... disgusting, probably because I am a father myself. You do understand it's consensual, right? It seems that he's been a single father, devoted for his daughter for an awful long time. Naturally, she developed a big father complex, because he was the most reliable man in her life, since her mother was not there for her.

There's nothing wrong if you look at it that way.

The moment you start applying more IRL logic and values on fictional stories, the less you get out of them. Just enjoy the fictional story for what it is.

Anyway. The art is really pretty, even if it's the "realistic" style, which I always tend to have reservations with. And the story was also charming. Good job!

@boag: I'm not a parent, but I guess watching a child grow up means even when they mature into a hot woman you can't help but see them as just a bigger version of that small child you raised.

I have to say that I agree with Fate to an extent. A teenage girl being an only child living with her father is bound to have a hard time dealing with all her emotions. For their own best as a family they probably should have waited until she was out of her teens to approach a sexual relationship at all. It's partly the fathers fault for being so naive - but at the same time I think he wouldn't want to hurt her feelings or have her hold any grudges against him.

Incest is a really complex topic, for good reasons, but I think this comic dealt with it in a surprisingly mature manner.
