This comic made me like Nidoqueen...okay that's a lie ...it made me love Nidoqueen.

I should point out that Nidoqueen is not reptilian it and it's line are based on rhinos so it would be mammalian "rhino-girl". She does not have scales she has armored plates like a rhino

@Godzuky: That is completely incorrect.

During the development of the first 151, Ken Sugimori himself stated that Nidos are a kind of dinosaur. Which means Queenie is reptilian in nature, and some dinosaurs IRL did evolve armor plating on their hides. Also, Nidos/reptiles lay eggs when bred, rhinos do not. But this changed after gen 2.

Ken Sugimori did not state that they are dinosaurs he stated that they are base on Baragon which is a kaiju. Moreover Sugimori is the art designer not the lore writer of the poke-vers, meaning he could base them on turds and if the lore writers say it's a chicken then it's a chicken. And the the lore states that they take similar actions, location and biology to rhinoceros than any reptile has to date. They grown females lose fertility while in captivity, they have young perfectly fine the wild, they live almost exclusively in Savannah geography and they protect their young hyper-aggressively especially from those of the same species or sex. Most mammals do the some of these same thing in similar fashions, but not a single reptile follows through on the same.
