Bloodly2 Buu never existed in the future. Pilaf didn't exited in the future either but whatever . . .

In the future timeline, Buu was never awakened because Trunks and Supreme Kai teamed up to stop Babadi from awakening him. Supreme Kai was killed in the process, Dabura using that stone spit on him.

@Bloodly2: Future Trunks said that Pilaf and Shu weren't around when he met Mai, which could mean any number of things, from they died to they just split from Mai. So I doubt they knew anything about Trunks defeating Babidi and Dabura. But I could easily imagine they wanted Mai back, saw Trunks as an obstacle to that, and decided to take him out. They've had far less thought out plans than that.
