This is a side project I was doing aside from my primary Horror comicbook project. I am an amateur artist so the general art quality is lacking.

It was an extremely lazy and slow-progressing work so the level of quality improves literally page by page.

A short story about a Rusalka, a nymph/mermaid of the Slavic/Polish Folklore.

I would recommend using the "non-h" tag instead of putting it in the title. Comes up when people are looking for different things, which might explain the harsher rating.

So I've been quite curious. What/Who's your inspiration on drawing? Like who's your favorite artist or what could make you feel like you want to draw?

Wow... Never had that question asked before... Personally I don't have any favourite artists. I only have favourite forms of art, I like Medieval manuscript and art of miniaturization, I like old realism of the 17/18/19th centuries. But I also come from Poland, where folk & tradition of Europe is strongly present and engraved in mind. I do love Horror genre, I find it and comedy some of the most challenging and worthy. At the same time I do like the incredible detail of marvel/DC western comicbook while also cuteness and beauty of Manga. However I don't have the skill to combine that above or master at least one. So I decided to work with all that mixed up in a hybrid form.

What pushes me to draw on is the idea that I am mortal and I am temporary, and other than children I decided I can make something else that will last. I saw my friends, I saw the people around me and I saw empty gray matter. I see people conforming to social rules working 8 hrs a day 5 days a week only to have a drink and watch a game on a weekend... This can't be all to life there is, I decided to be different and to sacrifice my time to give something to people. I don't live to work at my company & pay the bills, I don't live from one beer drinking to the next, I live for creation, I live for every smile & joy my work gives to other people. Be it just one person or a crowd that's a separate matter.

I self-taught myself with mere pen and paper. And I'm not rich enough to afford a drawing tablet so I decided to practice and master a hybrid of Handmade scanned lineart and digital enhancement with a computer mouse.

That's very admirable. About 7 years or so ago, I once saw someone with a very similar unique way of coloring and drawing. Got to admit his art was far from perfect but it pack with an artist passion. Which is very much the same as I saw in here. But this was more better and very much have a potential to getting even more better. I do hope to see more from you time to time.

Ps. Aside from passion, A good practice require a good inspiration. http://drmistytang.deviantart.com/
