Translation credit to TSHH and obsoletezero
Chapter 1-5 translated by TSHH, chapter 6-10 and extra translated by obsoletezero

Re-edited chapter 1-5 with tankoubon scan, no more full censorship.

Reika is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS MAID, she is adorable, cool, smart and yes, she is very cute also. Not a typical maid in hentai who addicted to sex, she know how to control men.

Enjoy.

Edit: Fixed some untranslated bubbles, sorry for inconvenient, please re-download ; _ ;

One bubble on page 27 is still in japanese. And one text block outside bubbles on page 75 too. Now it's fixed. Thanks!

Nice read. A little anticlimactic ending but whatever, hentai.

I feel like the author didn't have enough space to extend the story. Unless I have poor memory, he didn't have a chapter for the marriage proposal or the spirit thing reveal. Loose ends but at least the ending is nice and conclusive.

I don't know if the author meant for it to be but it's actually pretty sad. Due to her nature, she can never really "love" him the way he wants. Sure, she'll be with him until he dies but that's not really what he's been aiming for in the story. He kind of just compromises at the end for the sake of the ending.

Further, since she's effectively immortal and just has her memories wiped when her masted dies, then there's no telling how long this has been going on or how long it will go on for. She has to have her memories "tuned" every so often or she starts remembering her past which would probably break her mentally. She has to rebuild every time which is why being a maid is so important, it's all she has to anchor her between "lives".

So you've really got a beautiful empty husk of a woman that can never be what he really wants her to be who is also cursed (they don't say cursed but sure as hell seems like it) to constantly be "reborn" everytime her master dies with no memory of what her life was prior or even who she was as a person. He's never going to be fulfilled emotionally, she's never going to understand why he's not truly happy, and there's your happy ending.

Reika took Hasumi's virginity before she could fuck the guy she likes. Then she masturbated to them and was invited to a threesome behind her boyfriend's back. What do you tag this?

That's pretty deep but I agree and appreciate the effort you took to explain.

Also, going on record here, I prefer Reika to Fei's maids.

I can't agree with how you painted almost a classical happy vanilla story with black dye. The reason why you did that is because you are projecting yourself onto the characters too much. First of all, Reika is a spirit and judging her by human standards is just stupid, but even so there is not a single clue in the story that she is unhappy with her lifestyle even when she regains some of her past memories (by the way she wasn't mentally broken then, as you suggested, not in the least). And it is not like she is bind to her master by force, according to the author the contract between her and her master is a form of coexistence where she lives thought his "warmth", meaning that this "warmth" is essential for the contract. So calling all this stuff a curse is fundamentally wrong.
Second, I don't understand where you got this idea that she can never really love him, and he can never be what he really wants her to be. Love is not a ring on a finger and not a status of wife, it is how you feel about a person, and I am sure that Reika truly loves her master. And looking at the ending it seems that Reiji is also satisfied with his waifu.

......way to ruin a beautifully melancholic narrative and turn it into a bland happy ending.
from what i've seen it seems like you are the one who's projecting yourself too much, wanting desperately to have a happy ending when there is none.
no one said she's unhappy, it's simply sad from an outsider's perspective. "she's not human so you can't predict her like a human" is just an excuse for lazy writers. unless clues are given that she reacts totally differently in scenarios (you know, seeing people around her drop like sodding flies while she never ages a second), then we can damned well assume she's gonna react the same way humans do, that is to say, mentally shatter into little pieces over time. it's a destined tragedy similar to that of spice and wolf. even if it ends on a happy note, there's always this underlying layer of melancholy, because the readers already know the what the true ending will be in reality.
coexistence is bound by force.......one can't exist without another. it's not against her will, but that doesn't mean it's not by force.
having your memories erased over and over again, forgetting all the people in your life no matter how attached you are, bound to loose all that is, was, or will be, while remaining alive to know just how much you've lost. it's an almost existential sadness underlying the narrative, and a bitter piece of dramatic irony. it may not be a curse to her, but we, as readers, see that it is, and that makes it hurt all the more.

"I am sure that Reika truly loves her master"
and he's the one projecting?
mind you, i don't disagree, but you saying that without any support really make you sound desperate.
it's repeated again and again that her idea of love is little more than distorted servitude, but, according to the author, that doesn't matter. the story tells of the compromise side of love. the author's saying everyone loves differently, and true love isn't a specific kind of love, but the couple's ability to accept the other's. on the last page, the protagonist accepts reika's maid dress, rather than trying to change her out of it like he did on their first date, showing his acceptance for her unique form of love, and the way reika addressed their dated sounded like this is their first "real“ date, rather than a training trip for reika.

am i reading too deep into porn? did the author actually put this much thought and existentialism in? fucked if i knew, but from what we have, this is my closest guess, the last thing you wanna do in an analysis is to underestimate the author.
although, no one have explained why on multiple occasions the two felt "nostalgic", or the fake reika's remark about ”parental love" and "that man" not being able to let go of reika, both suggesting the two had some sort of dealing before hand. i think the author just didn't have the time or ability to tie up these loose ends (you know, without spending too much time not showing the two shagging like rabbits.)
if we really wanna stretch this, let me put my apologist hat on (on top of my overannalist hat), the author is basically saying "who cares?" what does the past matter? when neither are too bothered about it? do we truly need to know everything about someone to love them? knowing who someone was doesn't change who they are now, and if you could stop loving someone for their past, could you say you've ever loved them in the first place?
yeah i'm going overboard there, let's just stick with he didn't manage to flesh out the story and leave it there.

I don't know what you have seen and where you got this idea from, but you are wrong. I only used sheer logical reasoning based on extensive experience with hentai manga and Japanese authors in general, while the likes of you are stuck in the cage of their own illusionary beliefs, forcing them on a fantasy world and making drama out of nothing. Don't get me wrong I could have posted here a full-fledged counter-evidence to almost all of your points, but I consider this a waste of my time, because most likely my post regardless of its actual value will be heavily downvoted.
