Being the third one in the series, there's little context given here. Not entirely sure but I think the first book is the direct prequel to this cause that's when the childhood friend, Yuu-kun, confesses to and gets rejected by her, and then he gets NTRed by this old guy while Yuu secretly peeks through a door (what I know from the samples).

On pg.7, she's on the phone with her childhood friend, who I assume by now is a cuckold in full force, and she says something like "Yuu-kun, can you hear me? Today, in a hotel... I'm doing some L E W D". This book is probably inspired from one of his random twitter sketches: https://twitter.com/hayo_cinema/status/779162962984513536

Edit: I think the reason why there's so little dialogue is to give more power to the driving plotline of the book: she wants Yuu to hear everything; I mean, she even says it. The over-usage of sound effects also makes more of a drawn-out panel especially with the lack of dialogue.

@paquitooxbox1 Yeah it's the third book. Not sure about prequel/sequel semantics but those definitely feature the same characters, just iffy of each book's place in the timeline or even if they're in the same universe..
