@Indigo Actually, there has been more Pokemon doujins coming out in recent​ years, just only about the human characters. See, with Pokemon, the stars of the series IS the Pokemon themselves. Nintendo WILL go after people, who depict the Pokemon in unsavory manners in doujins. They could care less about the human characters, which is why you don't see any doujins that actually depict the Pokemon creatures. So there you have it, as long as a doujin doesn't feature an actual pocket monster, that was designed by Nintendo, then many artists are good.
