Finally...the very first 'We Can't Study' doujin is translated! Hurray! I saw the RAWs for this months ago, but holy shit, once again the quality was dumpster tier. Uruka deserves better than that, and boy do these scans do her justice.

I've always had a thing for tanned/swimmer girls. Swam competitively in highschool and college, so yeah...you kinda gain those fetishes, lol. Once this series came out, I instantly saw Uruka as the obvious best girl: Tan and Tanlines, Competitive Swimmer with Competitive Swimsuit, Genki AND she is the only one who is honest with her feelings for Nariyuki. Also, they both have had significant impact on each others' lives. Seems crystal clear that she should be the winner of this harem. And given the confession she made last chapter, this doujin seems to line up perfectly with canon :D Hope this gets more people to start reading this series since it is amazingly fun, and hell, maybe more people will jump on the obvious OTP ship of Uruka x Nariyuki. @Ingloo I mean yeah, sadly that is probably what will happen. Japan has notoriously shit taste in best girls. At least none of the girls in this series are legit terrible (like Kosaki Onodera was in Nisekoi), so here's hoping the author gets his shit together and ships these two, or that it just ends in a true harem. Nariyuki deserves it...

But seriously, I originally thought Furuhashi was going to be a Kosaki-clone, but she is actually a pretty great character. Glad I was wrong about her. Ogata has funny reaction faces, but kinda lacking in the character department (at least thus far). Sensei and Senpai are both great. Here's hoping Chem joins the harem at some point as well (though I'm pretty sure she is "in lesbians" with Ogata). Still...none can compete with Uruka. TAN IS JUSTICE!

I actually think this is a pretty good harem manga. All the girls are unique and likeable. The MC, although not a badass, is a respectable, hard-working character. Got a weak spot for people who manage to turn things around in order to help out their family.
