Hal seems to be experimenting with his stories recently. This is the most stories in a row from Hal I've seen that don't involve dismemberment, death, or both. Not complaining though. This is a nice change of pace.

Actually, this story is over two years old and while the tank came out mid-last year, it is originally from Masyo 2015-10 (the epilogue seems to have come out with the tank?).

The irony is that his more recent stuff is what is much more hardcore, but he had a block of vanilla before you get to his really early stuff which was more mixed.

Seriously, if any of you doubt me go look at his Daienjou -Ikare Ikasare Iki Ikare- tank that was recently uploaded. Holy Bitch is a fluffy lovefest, Daienjou fucking has a NOOSE on the first page of the first story...

I don't really view it as her getting used again, but using her sorrow to become sexually empowered. For the wrong reasons at first, sure, but she is regaining what she lost -- her innocence--by embracing her sexual nature and giving in to the enjoyment. The reward is for her; she wants the sex, she gets the reward from the action now, not him. What he took from her, she reverses and now takes from him. Rape is about control; and that's why she 'gives' him sex. She is controlling her enjoyment through him as he did to her, and reversing their initial roles to her advantage. I imagine the insinuation is that she will rape his friends too. I think its better to view it as she isn't 'used' any more than the dudes in the comic who slept with 8 (or presumably more) women every summer are used. It feels slightly allegorical. Yeah, I mean, I'm probably reading too much into it, and it doesn't need to make sense, it's just a dirty manga with a mind break, but as a woman, that's what I took from it, and I thought it was pretty great.

damn that's deep I might ad what I liked in both chapters about Mana was her hairstyle both before and after her makeover she had hair that looked like animal ears! And while you could make the interpretation that this a sign that she will turn into a bitch here's what I think: those ears represent a certain deity in japan (I don't know which one though) a deity that you should better never piss off or she will give you a fate that is certainly worse than death. I might also add to the woman scorned that it for some reason reminded me of "Taken" with Liam Neeson especially the phone speech sceme The guys on the table seemed to know her (one of them talked about a gyaru after all) and she did tell her friend that she would meet some people. But yeah this story is definetly awesome!
