The title of this comic speaks to me on a personal level.

I actually like the animalistic approach to Pokemon where they're intelligent, but not quite as intelligent as humans. It's a nice break from the majority of Pokemon smut that just depicts them as smug monstergirls. It's also got a touch of "realism" in that sense, as it's not really believable that human-intelligent monsters would allow themselves to be owned by humans. Of course, that only really works because this is a self-contained one shot and any trying to apply logic to Pokemon tends to fall apart in longer fanworks/fanfiction with continuity.

All these folks with the "they're not just dogs attitude," yeah, maybe they aren't just dogs, but treating them nearly as such is part of what makes it hot lol. Pokemon being treated as some kind of nearly human-level intelligence slave/sex-slave race is simply hot (basically what they are anyway), to some of our depraved minds at least.
