God this is... hard to read. It's like everything is narrated. You know how they say show don't tell? Well he's showing and telling ,and I don't think the writing is all that complicated.

This is the best worst thing I've read in a while. But it's really like an anticlimax, like literary blue balls. Ray is being fired for not playing ball with the commissioner, that's a good story, sure, and it lasts 4 pages. We never really see the outcome, it's just sorta stated as a thing that happens. Hell that's the kind of story that can drive an entire book but we get four pages and most of it's just narration telling us what happened later.

Also what's with all the God stuff? it's a comic about dogs fucking but there's a lot of really religious stuff in it that's kinda out of place.

See you cant be critical with this persons work. Why? well because they suffer from the jilted artist complex where if you critique their work "YOU JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!" beret in a mess wrists slit and their dramatic expressions reaching peak fay.

The characters are bland and fucking mary sues getting everything they want for nothing at all
all characters that COULD have avoided this and have actual plot are ignored for the desire to show off sex like it's somehow dealt with maturely in this, it is not.
the writer is UNBELIEVABLY sexist showcasing off only failing women and successful men in their world and having all women choose sex over other possible things.
the art is terrible because the artist cranks this out so fast with no hesitation or planning making several mistakes and having many characters look generic and similar as a result.
The story is non existent.
all attempts at conflict are quickly resolved and ignored.

So i've been thinking about all the things I hated about that dumb comic, and how it could be better, so here goes.

Ray has no conflict with anyone really. He's never in conflict with his wife, his dad, anyone, he'd be a Mary Sue if anyone noticed him.

here are some way he could be better:

Ray should have been an atheist. His dad's orthodox Jewish and that'd be a good point of contention between them. Similarly when his wife wants to raise their kids Jewish, it could bother him because he's culturally jewish but not religious.
Anything with his mom. She's basically non existent at this point. He should try and reconnect with her, but hasn't. Abe (his dad) might as well be a widower.
Ray should have really freaked out about having kids because he got Tina pregnant the first time they had sex and so their relationship by this point is only 4 months old. Is he really sure she's the one? He's never been in a long term relationship before, so is he going to regret it?
There should have been some conflict about buying a toy poodle, when his wife is a toy poodle. I'm not really sure but something.
Ray's conflict with his boss should have been more than four pages. It should have been set up before hand as well. It should have had him get fired, sue, draw it out, strain his mental health, and so on. He should have won but it should have been more interesting.

Chaos, I try to be civil, but this story isn't good, and it's okay to call it garbage trash, it's okay to be mean about it. If someone puts themselves out there and can't handle it, well there's really no hope for them. People need to be able to take criticism well and bad criticism in stride. He goes apeshit every time someone poke a hole in his numerous plot hole and refuse ANY sort of comment. The story was interesting but it soon turn out as some hipster existential crisis (Its quite litteraly Hipster life: The furry drama). Don't be discouraged that people think your work sucks, is uncanny, is incredibly odd, out of place, unfocused, has terrible writing, lacks conflict, glosses over several important plot points and combines fetish art with religious diatribe in a very heavy handed way. Those may all be true and they aren't a reflection of your worth as a writer or artist, and they aren't a reflection of who you'll grow into. I've read this entire thing, and it's not because it's very good. I read it for the opposite reason, because it's bafflingly bad. In my own way I enjoyed it, and it may not be how you wanted me to enjoy it but you should be proud of having made something even if it is... really something.
