I'm glad this ended the way it did. Their master-slave dynamic was already pretty sweet and loving, so Asuka getting her memories back after only a few chapters of letting Rei have her fun was pretty great as far as pacing goes. A+ stuff from the god of Eva futa as always.

I really love Kawaraya's Evangelion futa doujinshi series, but I do have one major gripe with it: It focused almost exclusively on Asuka x Rei and wasted a lot of potential by not adding some other logical choices into the master-slave relationship.

Shinji's debut into the hentai shenanigans in Tamashii wa Hana, the second part of the series, made me think that Kawaraya was going to follow the same gender-bender route as in his previous work Kopipe (Copy-Paste) and turn him into a futa like Asuka and Rei are. But nope, just send in an army of Shinji-clones to enact Maya's Hentai Instrumentality Project on everyone at Nerv and ignore all the pre-existing sexual/romantic subtext between him and the two girls that spawned tons of fanfics, doujinshi, CG sets, and much much more revolving around him getting involved with either one or both of the girls.

Mari's repeated appearances, and especially the part where she revealed that she used to be Yui's lover, gave me the impression that she's going to become a permanent fixture. That's fine; her involvement was done quite well, IMO. But noooo, it turned out to be a red herring, and she completely vanished in the last few chapters of the story.

Another gripe, but only a relatively minor one: Three parts of the series involved at least one of the futa-girls getting anal (sometimes even alongside vaginal), yet not even a single implication that the futa-girl's having her prostate being stimulated as a result of that? (I assume they have prostates, because how else would they be able to ejaculate in the first place? The prostate is what pushes out the seminal fluid so forcefully.)
