On one hand Kiyohime is depicted as a yandere no matter her class (Even as a lancer she still has mad enhancement EX, her insanity given form as a yandere obsessed with Gudao)
Also, the doujins have brief moments that imply that Gudao is being trapped on purpose in the island by Kiyohime, he has spent more time than what he thinks, and Kiyohime is more or less brainwashing him into getting obsessed with her.

Can anyone figure out what the scribbled-out part is supposed to say? The RAW seems a little more clear, but I can't read Japanese.

It more clear that she's been messing with his memories and that she specifically stranded them there to be together. Both parts start off with MC claiming "it's been a month" since they've been stranded, but she remarks that it's been at least 72 days in the other doujin. In this part of the series, she's in her last ascension form (whereas she's in her first in the other), which would imply that this takes place after.
