I really like how sad and dark this story is. A twisted man's one-sided, abusive love, for a woman who hates him to her very core.
Sure, she's an evil woman, but does that mean she deserves this fate? Further, it shows a hero who isn't actually a good person. It's bleak, and I think that the concept of the story is very interesting.
