And I'm done. These characters were once at least somewhat interesting in their dynamics with each other and how they carried through to other comics. There's really only one way that these characters can be saved, and that's for Pat to just not put up with any of her shit anymore. How about a comic where he realises just how spineless he's been, gives her the Spanish archer and promptly goes off to enjoy himself, all whist Nighshade gets to sit around, realising what a massive bitch she has been.

The big problem seems to be that people keep commissioning this type of situation and both the commissioner and Kadath both not caring that it's not something that was established for the characters in question.
Like one of the later pages has Pat talk about him being afraid to go hard with her due to size differences while Josh isnt afraid to, which contradicts one of the first times they had sex where they did exactly that. Like in almost the exact same position, which Nightshade enjoyed. Hell she was afraid she hurt him after it.
He has both been shown to be someone that HAS been rough with her and someone who is at least a switch and could take a dominant role. This situation honestly really doesn't feel natural at this point.

Though at this point this doesn't do any more than annoy me and I can just enjoy porn as porn but if the condom ends up breaking that will get me legitimately angry a bit. Especially if Pat doesn't show at least some dissatisfaction with that. :/

See, the thing is, Kadath tries to say that anything where nightshade is off with some other dude is non-canon and that she teases him but is faithful. That said, he makes NO effort to slap any sort of "non-canon" disclaimer on his shit and he never does any art where Pat and Shade fucking do anything together.

No instead he does patreon bullshit comics where Pat is cucked either in shade's fantasy or in reality. This tells me he's fallen for the "being cucked makes you strong" bullsht and as a result, gets swarmed with beta male cuckolds who commission this shit and Kadath lacks the ability to make any "canon" stories, he just makes all these "non canon" ones to the point where hey ARE the canon works because there sure as shit isn't any canon.

I think the Cuckolding stuff is in line with Nightshade's and Patrick's character. She's a dominatrix. I've noticed stories with these two usually take a cuckold tone or direction with the story. My problem is that Pat seems to have been toned down quite a bit in this story. It's not that he allowed this to happen, it's his quick change of emotions and tone about what's going on that I have an issue with. He used to be a bit more combative, if not a little intrigued, about these situations.

But apparently it's a commission so, meh.

The problem here isn't the cuck fetish. The issue is that this is cuck fetish done badly. They are skipping over important rules for cucking to actually work and at times here this could be mistaken for netorare. Then there's that these characters entire relationship seems to have regressed into just a fetish and Pat's character seems to be regressing as well.

Honestly from my knowledge of cucking if this were true to how it worked this would have started with a threesome and then boundary explaining to both make sure everyone is comfortable and that the buck knows what not to do. Neither of which happened here which means that Pat is likely not fully comfortable, Nightshade and Joshua going at it as soon as he leaves the room is essentially a breach of trust which is a no no, and Joshua as a person who doesn't know Pat's boundaries is at this point in the comic openly mocking him which is a dickheaded thing to do when you don't know what the cuck is alright with.

It's not meant to be but the cucking shown here can be considered abusive.
