So, I did as you asked. However, the community seems a tad confused about the way they want the galleries to be named.
I had previously uploaded a JP VN's CG gallery. I own the english translated version of this game, and 5 images actually have translated text in them, so I used the english title, along with the JP name in the appropriate field. However it got petitioned to be renamed to the romaji name in no time. Case in question: https://e-hentai.org/g/1276855/2d50828afc/

So what I'm asking is, is there some wiki page I missed describing how to do this properly, or it just goes however the audience (this community) sees fit?

Well, the thing is, this is actually a chinese game, also the former title you used was spelled in pinyin, not romaji. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinyin) Since Ehentai mainly serves English and Japanese readers, romaji won't be a obvious problem, however showing chinese pinyin would probably make many people confused.
As for the rule of naming galleries, sorry for my lack of understanding.:( But my opinion is, it's indeed better to add the official translation alongside if there is one.
