Cheating and NTR are not mutually exclusive even with E-Hentai's own meaning of the terms from the EHwiki.

Cheating
- A significant other having sex with someone other than their partner. Should not be tagged if the sexual interactions are against their will (e.g. rape) or falls under swinging.
Netorare
- Another person's spouse / partner being unfaithful and the one being cuckolded being aware of the situation.
- Also acceptable for when the story is clearly meant to invoke jealousy or sympathy on behalf of the person being cuckolded.

Whenever someone cheats, if the story is MEANT to invoke jealousy or sympathy, then that story is not just cheating, but it is also netorare.

While you are told that you should not CONFUSE cheating and netorare, it does NOT say that you cannot have them both in the same gallery.

Sometimes it is hard to differentiate in manga and more obvious in visual novels. But there could be netorare even without any cheating, as long as it could provoke jealousy.

@happytomorrow That is incorrect. Cheating that doesn't cause grief/jealousy for a spouse, love interest or reader is not NTR.

For an instance. A promiscuous woman who sleeps around because she finds her husband dull or abusive or whatever would be cheating, but it would not be NTR unless the husband is a focus in the story and we as readers are supposed to feel pity for the guy.
