1. A friendly suggestion... I would add a [WIP] (Work in Progress) label to your gallery title; as it is a WIP, in both image-count and literal progressive work project. This generally keeps people from getting their Expunge-pitchforks out. ;)

2. Art-wise, looks promising. I will reserve any serious artistic critique, as you are still on the sketches stage.

3. [edit-update]: (image 17)… I like #17 (Odette); it shows you have improved your art-quality since last seen/posted.
- a. Much smoother looking, in terms of line-work and character depiction.
- b. Good proportions ratio. Being able to show 'beauty' without having to resort to overdone proportions to draw attention.
- c. Keep up your work(s), good artistic quality is measured by the road you walk ever forwards; not to a destination, and not in a circle. ;)

8 image limit?
Not sure, but I usually rate galleries with under 5 images poorly unless it is clear that it is a short story under 5 pages.
Not worth anyone's time to look at so few images and an entire gallery made for what could be called less than scraps.

Now that you say it, there is a certain similarity because to draw furry I practiced with the drawings of Jay Naylor. Maybe that's why they are alike because I had their style as a base and from there I evolved into mine. Jay Naylor's style is cartoon, mine leans more to the manga. You will see that my new drawings are already completely different. They have more than Kizuki Aruchu, Stanley Lau, Tony Taka, Wei Wang, Jim Lee.
And Angela, Xian Mei (image 11) and Odette are all my characters.

Lastly, I am making a comic / manga with an extensive story that will take years to finish, but I have a problem that I must overcome. The problem of finishing a drawing, seeing the drawing the next day and only seeing errors.
Maybe my first few pages are not as detailed and impressive as I would like, but if I don't start now, I will never start. I have decided to draw with my mistakes and improve along the way.
So I hope I can post more often this time (now the only obstacle will be time)
