@Imsolo It's based on his other comic out-of-placers where it plays much more of a role. It may not play much in to this one though.

i think the canonical effect of the thing they use turns humans into female scavs, its not hurled in its just part of the story.

@shunkaha Also, given that females are rare for them, I’m wondering if it specifically turns them to females. If a woman were hit with one of those, would she turn into a MALE yinglet, for example? If not, I imagine it being some kind of emergency matriarch replacement thing. Like if an enclaves matriarch is all on her lonesome.

@KaZe_DaRKWIND The female yinglets aren't really much smarter, if at all, they're just given more academic resources. And even then, they're mostly idiots just like the male yinglets.
