@B1u3z: This is a late reply, but I think the idea here is that even though Kaga, like most of the other shipgirls, loves her Admiral, and wants to please him; but she also doesn't want him to lose sight of both their purpose and his role as their commander. With the lack of training exercises or missions, the shipgirls are getting bored and restless, and the Admiral is starting to lapse into some negative nostalgia about his life before joining the Navy. I believe Kaga's inner comment of "This is ridiculous" indicates that playing 'house' is not a pastime they should be engaging in, while a war is going on around them. Being married to a shipgirl is not the same as having a regular human wife, afterall. That's my take, anyways.
