as nice and vanilla as this is lets not forget the girl literally pursued an affair and pregnancy to force her partner into a committed relationship. like really she was so unable to compromise herself to support her partner that she instead tried to sully their relationship to 'get back at him' and when her feelings won out she decided to expedite the situation by having a shotgun wedding. this story only seems nice because they end up getting married and the guy has no hard feelings but this is not as nice as it seems. also they dont say how long they have been together and given the vanilla nature and how the guy handles the girl he is basically her husband in every way but legally so im inclined to believe him when he says he needs time to prepare himself for that step.

I get what you trying to say. But I think it she didn't enjoy it one bit being at the mixer and regrett it deeply enough even in drunk state and went home.

You can aruge why she would do that, maybe out of anger, to get back at him, for the story sake. Maybe she is an impulsive type who knows. Sadly you can't show a complex character in only 26 pages.

I at atleast believe she won't do that again.

Another time, place and author, this scenario could have gotten downright ugly. Nonetheless, and as someone else said, we only have the 26 pages used to convey the story, Therefore, I'll hope they've both made up their minds to marry each other and that they'll be happy together ... and just leave it at that.

I don't consider this vanilla in any way. If I had been him, I would have broken off the relationship right then and there. Trust is an important factor in an relationship. So even if she didn't went through with her plan, the fact remains that she lied to him with the intent to go to a mixer and have an affair. And why should he believe her that she didn't let some guy fuck her when she already lied to him about meeting a friend? I know how tough it can be to say "no" to a girl when you don't have many options, but trust me, keeping your sanity is more important.

I enjoyed all of this, made me think that more hentai authors should just copy the same idea. There are a load of ways you could write a story for a hentai manga, most of which are worth seeing, some of which are godlike. End of the day, though, do we need anything more than boyfriend fucks girlfriend, husband fucks wife? if you aren't making an original story anyways, then why not just have consensual sex between love reciprocating lovers, and y'know the equivalent for the other genres, like a straight NTR where the dude has like, unrequited love for the girl then gets fucked by another girl who he ends up with? or how about a girl actually enjoying her time being blackmailed, though she'd never admit it to the blackmailer... I read that one somewhere. ah, web novel though apparently.

Stories like this bother me. It's a bit too real - some guys just get into these relationships without seeing the signs right in front of them. At least she is attractive and the art is good, so that's fine. I'd rather not read it, though (for the story).

Yeah, I'm with the others on this one. This felt like some serious entrapment by her. When she doesn't get the answer she wants, she goes to a mixer (even if she regretted it she still made the decision to do it) and then used it as a weapon against him. Further, she then forces the idea of conceiving to further entice him into marriage which is pretty hardcore entrapment for a relationship.

We can give her some slack for being drunk at the time but she still made the decision to go to the mixer while sober. What if he doesn't want to get married right away? Wants to stay engaged for awhile? Is she gonna freak out again on him for going too slow? Is she going to threaten to leave him if he does something she doesn't like in the relationship? Because she was angry she opted to go to a mixer to get hit on by other guys while getting drunk. What if something happened? Or she decides next time to take it to the next step to get "revenge"? In the dialogue she acts like she has no agency to being "taken", like she's some object just waiting to be snatched if he doesn't do what she wants.

Way too many red flags.

I see alot of people condemning what the wife did, and I cant say these claims are not valid. However I can see how the girl is scared by the stagnation of the relationship as well, while she did a scummy thing she did only have her husband in mind and that took a toll on her. She does come off as rather manipulative, how much this can be attributed to the drinks I dont know. However this manga shows that through powerful passionate sex any couples resolve becomes that much stronger.

i knew this someone would make this argument. see there is a real difference between the two.

the "protag just pick a girl" is pointing out that the protag is so romantically inept that he is unintentionally emotionally stringing along a bunch of girls for long stretches of time and in most cases its not that they cant handle the relationship but more that they arent aware of the possibility and the actively hinder romantic progress under the assumption that none can be made.

this story however is a shining a light on a very volitile relationship. the girl is ignoring the guys emotional needs to satisfy her inadequacies. she believes that if he doesnt move forward with her now then he must not love her enough so she tried to find something new so that if he continued to refuse she could leave him but unfortunately for her she was far to attached so she instead THREATENS him with the idea that she would eventually cheat on him. the story just shows us a bratty girl throwing a tantrum for what she wants but giving it to her could be to the emotional detriment of someone else

Uh, first of all, she didn't go to the mixer with the intention to cheat on him, she went there just to make him jealous. Not an admirable thing to do by any means, but it's not unfaithfulness per se. He heard her story and still decided that he wanted her, accepting her with all her flaws. Certainly, she's not the kind of woman who'll make your life easy, but I don't get all the hate thrown at her, she's not that bad. He's also partially at fault for being so indecisive and causing her to feel insecure about their future. I think this is a rather sweet story about a couple of people with flaws accepting each other and putting some effort into making their relationship work. By overcoming hardships, their relationship will become stronger, I think that's the message the author is trying to get across. It would've probably been a lot better if the story was longer.

I am with people on this one. If she lied about going to a mixer, she could've lied about being screwed by some other dude. Hell, she might've come up with the pregnancy idea just to cover her tracks - she had another dude finish inside her, she thought "Oh shit, what if I get pregnant and my BF finds out", so she came up with the idea to have her BF come inside her on the same night, just to be able to say later "Well, it's your child honey, remember how we had sex that one time?"

She sets off MAJOR red flags. And even assuming you put aside the whole mixer thing, he should've dumped her the second she said she's going to get pregnant just to force him into a relationship. He said it himself - alcohol makes her HONEST. Which means, what she did at that moment, was HERSELF. So when you strip her of ethics, she becomes a manipulative, emotional child, who is willing to lie and put her AND your body at risk, just to get what she wants.

Now imagine they get in a fight further down the line, and what she'll be willing to do then, just to get her way.
