Can someone explain to me why bara yaoi stuff immediately gets like a 1-star rating as soon as it pops up? It seems to happen every fucking time. I look up "English translated" to see what new stuff comes up, and whenever there is bara yaoi stuff it gets 1-star ratings consistently.

I'm not into this kind of stuff, but I took a quick glance at a couple of pages of the content and everything seems fine from a basic quality perspective (grammar, scan quality, etc.). So why the 1-star rating? Are there people who just don't like this kind of stuff and just automatically rate each of them as lowly as possible? If so, it seems unfair to do so, since this is a place for every single fetish under the sun. Why single out this kind of fetish?

I don't know why those who dislike gay stuff don't simply add "-yaoi" to their searches so they don't see it - that's what I do for futa.
My e-hentai bookmark even has all my preferred search terms in the search bar already, so I don't need to retype them each time.
Maybe a few actively seek out stuff they dislike just to lower its rating, but they're just wasting their own time without preventing people from seeing it.
After all, this isn't reddit, where shit gets hidden when its score dips below a certain threshold, so whatever.
