Someone finds that irritating and criticizes it with the topic of a 'media narrative' as many of those cases when fully examined beyond CNN prove to be media spinning or even another hoax. Using a complex, massive subject like "Chicago" because that same media narrative completely falls apart examining objective facts there and yet they still double-down on that same narrative anyway. It's a very good example of the media issue, fanatics and the whole sociopolitical narrative vs material reality.

Your response is to ignore that whole point, minimize the complex subject down to "Chicago has a lot of crime", insult the person and call them a "racist" (as usual) while virtue-signalling yourself.
