Please don’t be the next olddog. No one likes rewrites. There are better and more specialized sites for fanfics where you can get better constructive criticism. Maybe join a discord with other people who enjoy rewrites.

I cannot understand the hate for rewrites. The sheer hypocrisy of attacking the rewriter for "defiling" the author's work when they themselves are basically stealing and pirating the work of hundreds of other authors by reading on this site for free rather than paying at the proper site.

STOP trying to play heroes. You're not, and you won't be by attacking people that re-write. You somehow think you have this moral high ground by acting like "Justice Man". You don't. This is SJW mentality. Picking a vulnerable party and attcking them to convince yourself that you are heroes to society and thinking you have the moral highground for doing so. Then, the mob mentality of the sheep follows.

I don't see the problem with re-writes if they made it clear its a rewrite. Not everyone can draw their own manga, this much is obvious. If you have zero contributions to the translation, drawing, or writing scenes, don't try to attack others for contributing to the community in the best way they can. If you truly respect the author as much as you claim, leave this site and buy their work directly. STOP being hypocrites. STOP playing SJW. STOP with the mob mentality.

The NEED to post here when you hate it so much is odd. It's like Banana Cream Cake. It has a 0.5 star rating, and people just HAVE to post in it when they can just ignore it and move on. Maybe it's just me but I don't see how seeing a rewrite every so often/BCC everyday can make people fly into a rage. Yes, it's bad. Yes, the stuff is asinine. No, it's not worth your time. Yet, where are you? Posting.

I'm posting because I'd like to understand. Hate for rewrites because they ruin the original, sure. I get it. Why post about rewrites in GENERAL though? Why not be constructive or at least say THIS rewrite sucks? It's like going to a playground full of kids and trying to read a book, while saying "GOD I FUCKING HATE KIDS", and meaning it with every ounce of your soul. It makes no sense to me. Why go there and complain? If you were to complain about how shitty the park was after visiting, sure.
