Translators notes:

Pg 04: "Dream self" is a reference to the Perfect Possession incident which is the central plot of Antinomy of Common Flowers (AKA Touhou 15.5)

Pg 09: The protagonist is making a sort of joke here. He uses the phrase "Kanon-sama gokaichou/観音様御開帳",
which literally means "Let's unveil Kanon-sama". Goukaichou are public exhibitions of Buddhist treasures and artifacts. Kanon-sama refers to the Boddhisatva Avalokiteshvara (also known as the Buddhist deity of compassion, Guanyin). Kanon-sama is also slang for clitoris. The protag is thus "unveiling" Byakuren's clitoris as if it were a Buddhist treasure.

Pg 16: The word Byakuren uses to describe the protag's penis is "mara", which is also a word related to Buddhism that has a double meaning. "Mara/摩羅" is defined as an obstacle to Buddhist practice (described as forces that are the opposite of enlightenment). It's also slang for "penis".

I think it's time we started adding the "Milf" tag to things like this. Things where the female/females are obviously Milfy, even if they don't have kids or aren't married ect ect. If a woman who is married and without kids can be tagged "Milf" so can things like this. I mean, who doesn't look at Hijiri in this and not think Milf? @Zelinko: The Eirin books didn't exactly start lovey-dovey, though. Eirin was letting the guy have sex with her because she felt responsible for his condition (it was her experimental drug that gave him a super libido that prevented him from doing anything else). The main thing with her was that she couldn't say "no" to the protagonist, combined with the fact her body had gotten used to having sex with him to the point one thing led to another.

This Byakuren book is not that different in that regard, since it starts with Byakuren getting caught being a pervert by a guy that is attracted to her. He uses something that resembles a blackmail angle but isn't to get close to her (there's no threat from the protag; she seems to go along because she legitimately feels she ruined the funeral, ignoring her reaction at seeing the guy's dick). She eventually wants to have sex with him and decides to use her "dream self" as an excuse to do so (because, as a Buddhist nun, she's supposed to be celibate). If anything, it points to the idea that the inhabitants of Myouren Temple are really sexually repressed (especially in light of how Shou was used in this story).

Diisuke himself also mentions that he went out of his way to prevent the typical "dark" story that Byakuren is commonly thrust into. Compared to how she's usually treated in doujinshi (gangbangs, rape, mind-break, blackmail), I think Diisuke succeeded here.
