miscommunication works both ways. The guy may have jumped the gun from a non-omnipotent view but at the same time his demeanor noticeably changed and the wife didn't care.

It’s not entirely the MC’s fault. Don’t try to blame all to him while the girl also didn’t even try to seek help at all or didn’t want to consult him. I would say they were both wrong but the girl was mainly at fault here. Let explain this.
