I think this comic has opened my eyes. I thought I was against all the dom/sub stuff in kadath's work. I'm not. It's still not for me, but I'm fine with just looking at Puzzle getting railed while in fetish gear and ignoring the text completely.

It is, very specifically, Nightshade that I don't like. Not as a character, but as a 'person.' Like, it's a subtle line, but Kadath actually pulled off one of the most difficult character archetypes there is to portray; Someone who feels like a real, actual person, but who you're just not supposed to like.

Not saying he did it on purpose, mind, just that that's what has happened.
