The story takes place before Reality Stone and explains the past between Mitsuho and Taki, as well as where the famous "Reality Stone" comes from.

The story, though not an original, is actually really nice, well presented and entertaining. The author describes pretty much the scenes that couldn't have been shown in a mainstream anime :-)
