God, I guess I missed the point of the doujin but the narrator is such a psychopath that I just kept reading to deepen my disdain for him. The last page truly completes it in showing how broken the narrator's brain is. Nice translation, and nice art, though.

The way I interpreted it is that she adopted a kid, and that's why the main character said it makes no sense time-wise.
This was almost unflappable but it was very well written.
